We are reviewing our adopted Local Plan, and are consulting on proposals to add more sites. Consultation closes at 4pm on Thursday 8 January 2026.

We work with other organisations to improve places to live, work and play in the Chelmsford area. 

Army and Navy We are working with Essex County Council and the Department for Transport on a long term solution for the Army and Navy junction in Chelmsford.
