A Victorian Easter at Oaklands House
Many Easter traditions began with the young Queen Victoria, including Easter Egg hunts, and the Easter Bunny. At Easter, churches were filled with flowers and people filled their houses with spring blooms, as well as making and sending Easter cards.
This Easter, join us at Chelmsford Museum for a holiday inspired by some of these traditions. All activities are free and there’s no need to book in advance. Come along to one day or spend several days with us. We’re egg-cited to see you!
