Description

The Apple Seat was commissioned on behalf of Bloor Homes, and designed and made by Julie Edwards and Ron Thompson of Planet Art. The works include a number of plaques celebrating apple varieties developed locally by Seabrook's of Boreham and form part of the wider art and heritage trail in the village. Local schools and art groups were engaged, including an artist-led community event, followed by a local vote resulting in the Apple Seat sculpture.
