Our pool parties at Riverside and South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre are the perfect way to celebrate at any age!
Riverside Learner Pool Party (ages 0 to 8)
Make your child’s party the envy of all their friends with our learner pool splash party. Let your little ones splash around for an hour in our fantastic learner pool filled with toys and inflatables, under the watchful eye of our qualified lifeguards.
Riverside inflatable party (ages 8 to 16)
An hour of pure adrenaline! Challenge your friends to a race over our 18m super commando run pool inflatable obstacle course. Or shoot down the flume for a big splash.
SWFLC main pool party (ages 2 to 16 plus adults accompanying under 8s or non swimmers)
The perfect hours to burn off that energy, all under the watch of our qualified lifeguard. With so many options, its impossible not to have fun!
Choose from:
- floating floor end, set at a depth of your choice (for a maximum of 20 people)
- half pool party (for a maximum of 40 people)
- whole pool party (for a maximum of 80 people)
SWFLC inflatable party (ages 8 to 16)
Pit yourself against your friends and race each other on our twin track inflatable assault course. The perfect hour to burn off that energy, all under the watch of our qualified lifeguard. For children aged 8 years and over.
All attendees must be aged from 8 to 16 years (no adults) and be able to swim 25m unaided without stopping. All swimmers will be swim tested at the beginning of the party. If they are unable to complete the 25m swim, then unfortunately they won't be allowed to take part.
Riverside learner pool parties
Our learner pool parties run on weekends only, at the following times:
- Saturdays, from 4pm
- Sundays, 4pm to 5pm
Prices
- £180 for up to 55 people (those in the pool, including adults)
- A £30 deposit must be paid when you book
Riverside inflatable party
Days and times
Riverside's inflatable pool parties run on weekends only, at the following times:
- Saturdays from 4pm
Prices
- £260 for up to 50 people (those in the pool, including adults)
- A £30 deposit must be paid when you book
Maximum numbers, including children and adults participating in the party, are subject to swimming pool ratios.

SWFLC's inflatable pool parties run on weekends only, at the following times:
- Saturdays at 5pm

- £230 for 30 people (those in the pool)
- A £30 deposit must be paid when you book
SWFLC Pool party
Days and times
Our learner pool parties run on weekends only, at the following times:
- Saturdays at 3.30pm and 5pm
Prices
- Full pool: £210 for up to 80 people
- Half pool: £165 for up to 40 people
- Floating floor end: £145 for up to 20 people (set a depth of your choice)
- A £30 deposit must be paid when you book
Maximum numbers, including children and adults participating in the party, are subject to swimming pool ratios.
- You can use our online form to enquiry about party availability.
- All bookings are subject to our party terms and conditions.
- Parents or guardians of the party child must accompany their children for the duration of the party.
- Parties include equipment hire, party host, coach or lifeguard (depending on party option).
Riverside takeaway lunchboxes
We do not offer hot or cold catering for pool parties, but you can book our tasty takeaway lunchboxes in advance to collect after the party.
- £5 per person
- Party box includes cheese or ham roll, crisps, a milky way and a carton of drink.
- Please order these at the time of booking your party.
- Lunchboxes can be collected after the party to take home with you.
- Party lunchboxes are takeaway only and cannot be eaten inside the venue.
South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre
- Party catering is not available; however you can bring your own food, as your party price includes the use of our party room.
Adult to child ratios
- Children under four years must be accompanied in the water by a responsible person over the age of 16 on a one to one ratio. However, the ratio becomes one to two if any child under four is wearing a suitable buoyancy aid, such as armbands or a float suit. Hand held buoyancy aids are not considered appropriate.
- Children aged four to seven years must be accompanied in the water by a person over 16 years old, with no more than two children per responsible person.
- For children aged eight plus there no accompaniment is necessary.
