A fun high energy dance aerobics class with easy to follow choreography to single tracks from old school anthems through to new club hits. Suitable for all fitness levels who want to have fun keeping fit.

Freestyle easy to follow, low impact choreography using traditional aerobics moves which are developed into a fun routine finale.

Les Mills Dance

Les Mills Dance is a 45-minute high-energy workout that will challenge and move you. Each class includes 10 stand-alone tracks, with each introducing new choreography. The workout is anchored in three cardio peaks, a warm-up, and a cool-down. It combines innovative dance movements with the latest music to drive energy and motivation in every move.

Sh’Bam

A fun-loving, insanely addictive dance workout. Sh’Bam is an ego-free zone, with no dance experience required. All you need is a playful attitude and a cheeky smile. Set to a modern soundtrack, you’ll leave this class sweating and smiling.

Zumba

Zumba® is an interval-style dance fitness party that combines low-intensity and high-intensity moves. You'll burn lots of calories as you move to the rhythm with Latin-inspired dance moves. The best part of it all is that it doesn't even feel like exercise!

Our exercise classes are very popular, we advise booking in advance.

You can book onto classes:

ten days in advance if you have a monthly membership
seven days in advance if you have an ourChelmsford Plus card
two days in advance if you have an ourChelmsford Lite card

You will need to book a session in advance to guarantee your space.
If you do not check-in, we will charge you the full amount for the session.
Please make sure that you have registered your email address with us in order to book online.

If you can't attend a class that you have booked onto, you must cancel at least two hours before it starts.
You can cancel online or via the app, by calling 01245 615050 or in person.
We will charge you the full amount for the class if you do not cancel in time, or if you do not attend.

You will need to collect a ticket from reception when you arrive for your class.
Monthly members can swipe through the barrier and register their attendance.
You will not be allowed entrance to any class if it has already started.
To allow time for changeovers, classes will finish five minutes before the advertised time.

If you want to use a locker on poolside, you will need a £1 coin to release the key. You will get the £1 back when you return the key.
There is a male group changing area and a female group changing area located on poolside.
Accessible changing facilities are located on poolside.
The pools complex, including the changing area is a shoe-free zone, this includes the removal of flip flops.
