Apprenticeships we offer
If you are looking for the first step in your career or are re-entering work after a career break, an apprenticeship with us is a great place to start.
Apprenticeship opportunities vary each year and have been previously offered in the following areas:
- business administration (for various departments)
- ICT/digital services
- parks
- leisure
- finance
- planning
During your apprenticeship you will be able to take part in Council-wide training and events, and work with experienced and helpful teams.
If you become one of our apprentices, you will receive the same benefits and discounts as our other employees.
You will also be able to register for an NUS Apprenticeship Extra card which gives you fantastic discounts off a large selection of shops and restaurants.
