Register for an account

You will need to set up a new Council Tax account with us if you have:  

  • moved into the area from elsewhere
  • bought or rented your first home

To set up a new account, you will need to tell us:

  • the date you moved in
  • details of your old address
  • details of your new address
  • details of anyone who is moving in with you

If you are a landlord or letting agent, you can also tell us about a move.

Authority to discuss

We can only discuss your Council Tax account with you, or someone who has authority to discuss.
