We can only discuss your Council Tax account with you or someone who has authority to discuss.

Discount or exemption for care home residents If you or another adult living with you is now permanently in a residential care home, you can claim a discount or exemption on your Council Tax.

Exemption for students If you and everyone living in your property are full-time students, you can apply for a student exemption.

Exemption for people with a severe mental impairment If you have a severe mental impairment, you can apply for an exemption.

Discount for disabled people Find out how you can apply for the Disabled Band Reduction Scheme.

Single person discount You can apply for single person discount of 25% if you are the only adult living in your property, or cancel if you no longer live alone.

Discount for a second home If you have a second home, you can apply for a second home discount of 10%.
