We have updated our advice about how to recycle greeting cards. You should now place any non-glittery cards in the card sack. This has changed from the advice printed on the sacks and in our easy guide to recycling.
White sack for cardboard
We provide white sacks for you to recycle cardboard and lower-grade paper, such as egg boxes, cereal boxes and toilet roll tubes.
You can check what you can put in your white sack for cardboard by looking at our list.
If you can't find the item you want to dispose of in this list, you can search by item instead.
Collection
We collect the white sacks for cardboard every two weeks. You can check your collection dates by entering your postcode or address.
If you have large pieces of cardboard, you can fold them and place them beside your sack.
Replacement sacks
You can order a new white sack for cardboard online if yours is missing or damaged.
You can also use other bags for your cardboard, as long as they are clear so we can see what they contain. You need to put these bags out on your normal cardboard collection day.
