Recycling services for business
Sending materials to landfill comes at a cost, so by recycling, you can save your business money.
We charge per collection, regardless of how many bins you have or how big they are.
Collection options
As a local authority, waste collections with us are VAT exempt.
All prices are valid from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025.
You can recycle:
- food and drinks cans
- aerosol cans
- aluminium foil and containers
You can't recycle:
- metal utensils and cutlery
- foil-backed plastic, such as crisp packets
- gas canisters
You can recycle:
- all food waste
- bones
- shells
- tea bags and coffee grounds
You can't recycle:
- food packaging
- liquids and fats
- pet food
- plastic carrier bags

You can recycle:
- all empty and rinsed glass bottles and jars
You can't recycle:
- broken glass
- visionware and pyrex
- window panes
You can recycle:
- office paper
- shredded paper
- junk mail and brochures
- envelopes
- paper and hardback books
- cardboard boxes
- clean cardboard food packaging (non foil-backed)
- greeting cards (non-glittery)
You can't recycle:
- wallpaper
- waxed paper
- food and drinks cartons
You can recycle:
- all plastic bottles
- cling film and polythene wrap
- carrier bags
- food and drinks cartons (such as orange juice and milk)
- food trays
- yoghurt pots and butter tubs
You can't recycle:
- coffee cups
- crisp packets
- fruit and vegetable netting
- polystyrene and bubblewrap
You should rinse dirty packaging, and squash plastic bottles and put the lids back on.
